Excellent location close to rail station and public transport. Large, high rooms. Excellent breakfast - including access to outside patio. On plesant square with Via Roma outside fromt door. Helpful staff.

Excellent location right across from train station. Fabulous, varied and plentiful breakfast foods.

Shower too small and water leaked out onto floor.

Nice room with balcony. Room quite comfortable with old world charm. Very convenient to train and close walk to centre of city.

My room was almost at the end of the corridor so the internet connection was not reaching inside the room.

Excellent location, close to train station and city centre. The room we had gave views of adjacent park. The shower was excellent and the bed extremely comfortable. Reception staff were very helpful with all queries. The breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable hotel in excellent location at the top of the Via Roma opposite the main railway station. Perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Park opposite - an orchestra was performing there when we arrived! Staff very friendly and helpful. Free parking in August on the street outside.

This hotel is right across from the Porto Nuovo train station, steps from the Metro, and near many tourist destinations. The hop on hop off bus tour bus stops right here too! I felt very safe as a single traveler. The breakfast which was included in the room cost was great, and my room was comfortable and secure.

Superb central location and close-by secure parking (limited number). Very good room with excellent walk-in shower, "spick and span". Price very reasonable considering location.

Reception staff a trifle surly. Short-term parking outside hotel for unloading/loading might be difficult.

Complete disspointment.

Our room was spacious and clean, with lots of storage in traditional Italian furniture. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The breakfast was better than average continental breakfast. The location was great for shopping, sight seeing, and railway access.

The staff could have been a little friendlier and I strongly recommend that you don't purchase the wine. I have tasted better vinegar ! There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the area that serve excellent wines and food.

The hotel is very close to the Porta Nuova station, and only three metro stops away from the international station at Porta Susa. It is easy to find and the building has a classic feel to it, with a glitzy foyer. If you don't like the hotel breakfast or if the start time of 7am is too late for you, there are good coffee shops across in the newly modernised Porta Nuova station open from 6am, particularly the impressive Boulangerie which has friendly service and exceptionally good pastries. At 41 euros for a budget-priced room (without breakfast) I doubt you would get a better deal in Turin or would want to try.

I just wish some of the staff were more friendly and didn't make you feel that they were the ones doing you the favour. On my departure day I came downstairs with my backpack already in place, so it was clear I was leaving. The entirety of our conversation was: Receptionist (before I could say I was leaving): 149 euros Me (producing the cash): Ecco ci qua Receptionist: Grazie Me: Grazie. Arrivederci Receptionist: (didn't utter another word) A short attendance course at smiling classes may also help
